Many survivalists prefer a wider blade that has a flat ground that’s made out of high carbon stainless steel, since it will be able to handle plenty of wear and tear.
Rockwell Hardness
A blade’s Rockwell hardness rating will determine how durable the blade is. A blade with a higher rating on the scale means that the knife will hold an edge well. These knives often have a rating that ranges between 58-62.
Blade Edge
